• Location information: your ZIP code, which we use to confirm service availability and determine whether we can serve your home in person.
• Home and security details: answers you provide in our website quiz, such as the type of home you live in, whether you own or rent, the number of doors and entry points, your current security setup, and the equipment or coverage you are interested in.
• Communications: records of your calls, emails, and text messages with us, including your consent to receive text messages.

We do not collect payment card numbers through our website quiz. If you become a customer, payment information is handled as described in your service agreement.

2.How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

• Prepare and provide home security quotes and package recommendations based on your quiz answers.
• Schedule and conduct consultations, including in-home walkthroughs and phone consultations.
• Contact you about your quote, your consultation, and the status of your request.
• Send follow-up communications about our services, current offers, and promotions — including by text message, as described in Section 3.
• Provide, install, and support security systems for customers who purchase from us.
• Improve our website, quiz, and services.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

3.Text Messaging (SMS) Program

When you provide your mobile phone number and give consent — for example, by completing our website quiz and agreeing to be contacted — Howard Communications LLC may send you text messages.

Your mobile information stays private. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the messaging provider that delivers our texts, as described in Section 5.

4.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We also do not rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: with the companies listed in Section 5, solely so they can perform services on our behalf (for example, delivering text messages or processing form submissions).
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Howard Communications, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of our business, subject to this policy.

5.Service Providers We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate our business:

• Twilio — delivers our text messages and phone communications. Your phone number and message content pass through Twilio's platform so messages can be sent and received.
• Google — provides the forms we use to collect quiz responses (Google Forms), the calendar scheduling tool we use to book consultations (Google Calendar), and email services. Information you submit through our quiz or booking pages is processed and stored by Google on our behalf.

These providers process your information only as needed to provide their services to us. Each provider also maintains its own privacy practices, which you can review on their respective websites.

6.Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include limiting access to personal information to those who need it to serve you, using reputable service providers that encrypt data in transit, and keeping account credentials secure.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us using the details in Section 11.

7.Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide quotes and services, follow up on your request, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law, as described in Section 8.

8.Your Choices and Rights

• Text messages: reply STOP at any time to opt out.
• Email: ask us at any time to stop sending marketing emails, and we will remove you from those communications.
• Access, correction, and deletion: you may contact us to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9.Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults who own or occupy a home. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging consent will not apply to information collected under a prior version without notice.
